Moody said earlier in the week that Manighar will run in the Cox Plate unless he runs dour in the Caulfield Stakes (2000m) on October 13.
Lamasery had his Caulfield Cup odds slashed after his impressive victory in the Group 2 Hill Stakes (2000m).
The David Vandyke-trained gelding was a placegetter in last year’s Group 1 Metropolitan Handicap (2400m) but missed the Caulfield Cup because of injury.

2011 Melbourne Cup winner Dunaden, Newcastle Cup winner Glencadam Gold, international stayer Jakkalberry and Italian import Voila Ici are all one the next line of betting at $21.
