The second acceptances for the 2012 Caulfield Cup was released yesterday and has led to some major changes in the Caulfield Cup betting market.

Mark Kavanagh-trained December Draw is now the favourite for the 2012 Caulfield Cup and is priced at $13 at bookmaker.com.au.

The English import returned to form with a strong run behind Ocean Park and Voila Ici in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m).

The gelding started last year’s Caulfield Cup as favourite but was injured during the run and finished last.

Last year’s winner Southern Speed is on the second line of betting in Caulfield Cup betting markets.

The Southern Image mare has been in good form in 2012 and ran home well in the Underwood Stakes.
